Mixed Media Collage

My process begins by  using  photos and pages of text, often sourced from vintage books (including my high school yearbook). I alter the selected paper through a rusting process, sanding or removing portions of the ink. The papers are then incorporated with other materials and fused, using a hot iron, onto canvas, wood or high quality paper. As a final step, I often paint and draw onto the surface
