July 2019 – I took a collage class with Laura Lein-Svencner. The first art class I’d taken since my undergraduate days at Illinois State University. Since that time, I haven’t stopped making art.

 

  • September 2020 – Prelude: What Comes Before – Collage accepted to Where’s The Revolution Show held at the Bridgeport Art Center, Chicago, IL.

  •  September 2020 - Road to Nowhere – Collage accepted to Abstract Only! 10th Anniversary Exhibition held in Hilo, Hawaii at the Wailoa Center. (over 350 entries for this national show)

  • October 2020 - Locked in Time – Collage accepted to Old Town Triangle Association, Leslie Wolfe Gallery, Chicago, IL.

  •  April 2021 - Collision Course – Collage accepted to Edgewater ArtSpace for the CAVA member show

  • May 2021 -  Straw marquetry serving tray shown at LaGrange Art League Student Art Show

    • Honorable Mention awarded for this piece     

  • July 2021 – Midsummer Nightmare and Yearning to Breathe Free, both collages, accepted to SOS Planet Earth show at Stola Contemporary Art Gallery, Chicago, IL. These pieces were also in the catalog for this show.

  • July 2021 - And Man Said: Let There Be Plastic and Heatwave, both collages, accepted to the catalog for the SOS Planet Earth show at Stola Contemporary Art Gallery, Chicago, IL.

  • August 2021 – Escape – Encaustic mixed media collage accepted to the Small Wonders show at the Fine Line Creative Arts Center, St. Charles, IL.

  • November 2021 – Prelude: What Comes Before and What Lies Within? accepted for The Thin Line show at The Art Center, Highland Park, IL.

  • February 2022 – Guardian – Ceramic sculpture totem shown at Elmhurst Artists’ Guild

    • Awarded Honorable Mention

  • March 2022 – Respite and Collision Course, both collages and Crimson Sky and Escape accepted to the Art Walls exhibition in Chicago commercial buildings through Fulton Street Collective.

  • April 2022 – Summer Breeze, Water Dance, Eternally Linked, Divisions, Adrift and Unknown Horizons accepted to a solo show at Birch Road Cellars, Chicago, IL.
